The Makovicka Difference

We are leaders in our profession, locally owned and operated by physical therapists who forge relationships with patients, and advocate for their care. All of our clinics have board-certified specialists on staff, meaning you get the highest level of care to maximize your recovery, and get you back to your game. We will listen, evaluate your symptoms, and create a personalized physical therapy program to meet your needs and improve your function, strength, and mobility.

Locally owned and operated, Makovicka Physical Therapy staff are involved in their clinic’s communities.  In Plattsmouth, Makovicka PT staff spent a few hours over their lunchtime during the week getting student bags of goodies stuffed, organized, and ready for the Plattsmouth Elementary School PTO’s giveaway. With 480 students and many staff members, the piles of assorted sized t-shirts, snacks, water bottles, and bags were a sight to see! The team quickly discovered a process to stuff the bags with the appropriate size shirts and make sure the teachers had the correct number of student bags in their satchel.

Makovicka Physical Therapy embraces community engagement as one of the corporate value pillars. You will often find staff involved in various meaningful programs and events in the community. It’s an important component of what makes Makovicka Physical Therapy an essential contributor in the Plattsmouth and Cass County communities. Also, the company is a member of the Plattsmouth Chamber of Commerce and the Cass County Economic Development Council. Shane Cole, PT, DPT, clinic director, serves as an Ambassador of the Plattsmouth Chamber.
