Casey Buresh
Casey is originally from Fremont, Nebraska, but grew up in LaPorte, Indiana. After graduating high school, he moved to Omaha where he attended Creighton University and received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. From there, he attended Clarkson College and earned his Associate of Physical Therapist Assistant degree. Casey is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Nebraska Physical Therapy Association. In his free time, Casey enjoys playing golf and soccer and tries to incorporate these activities into patient care. He is also involved in several philanthropic groups including Mustaches for Kids Omaha and Basset and Beagle Rescue of the Heartland, for which he and his wife serve as a foster home for dogs in need.

Kellie Simerly
Kellie was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She attended Millard West where she participated in track, dance and marching band. Kellie received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Kansas. While there, she was a member of the KU Marching Jayhawks and Drum Corps International. She went on to get her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Kellie is a member of APTA. Outside of work, she enjoys running half marathons, instructing marching arts and rooting for the Jayhawks.

Jason was born and raised in Omaha where he attended Papillion-LaVista High School. He received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Creighton. Jason then went on to receive a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Creighton. Jason is certified in IASTM and Level 2 Functional Dry Needling.Jason is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Outside of work, he stays busy with church and serving on the road crew for his daughter’s show choir.

Kaylee was born and raised in Omaha, attending Millard North High School. She then attended Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, earning a degree in Exercise Science. Kaylee was on the Track and Field team at Millard North High School and Nebraska Wesleyan. She then earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Creighton University. Kaylee is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. She enjoys running, living, and outdoor activities like hiking.

Didi Gunubu
Odile "Didi" Gunubu was born and raised in Lome, Togo (West Africa). She moved to the United States in 2003 after graduating high school. Didi earned an Associates of Physical Therapist Assistant from Iowa Western in 2019. She advocates for French speaking patients seeking care and enjoys getting to be part of her patients’ rehabilitation journey. Didi is married to her husband, Tofi. Together, they have two kids, Loriane and Aurora. In her free time, she likes to spend time with friends and family and enjoys picnicking at Standing Bear Lake Park.

Chris Derozier was born and raised in Fort Lupton, Colorado. He and his family moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa in 2011. Chris then pursued his passion for helping others and attended Clarkson College where he obtained his Associates of Physical Therapist Assistant Degree. An avid cyclist, Chris has been Retul Bike Fit certified to provide the most comprehensive bike fit available.

Bobbi is from Laurel, Nebraska--a small farm town in the northeast part of the state. In high school, Bobbi was on the speech team and was in the school plays. She moved to Omaha about three years ago. Bobbi likes all kinds of music, and she loves reading fiction/fantasy novels--her favorite series is Harry Potter. She says Saturday mornings are for spending playtime with her adorable Pomeranian puppy, Cosmo, and she enjoys thrift shopping with her mom and sister. One thing she loves about working for Makovicka Physical Therapy is watching the progression of patients getting better; transitioning from a walker to a cane, to walking in the clinic with a smile!
