Makovicka Physical Therapy offers a comprehensive, customizable occupational health program tailored to fit the needs of companies of all sizes. The continuum of services includes: Pre-employment Screening * Ergonomic Assessment * OSHA First Aid/Early Intervention. There is a menu of other services offered as well.
Pre-employment Screening is tailed specifically to each employer, and to each individual position and job performed within the company. The goal is to screen out pre-existing conditions and determine fitness for duty. Along with a physical examination, drug screening, vision screening, and hearing assessment are offered.
Ergonomic Assessment is an on-site analysis of employees and equipment. Photos are taken, employees interviewed, and job duty processes are watched. A detailed reporting of cost-effective modifications and recommendations for injury risk reduction are provided to the company.
OSHA First Aid is a value add for employees and employers. The OSHA First Aid principles to prevent exacerbation of nagging injuries.
