Makovicka Physical Therapy announces 4 of its therapists passed the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) board certification examination this month. Landon Booker PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS; Jordan Davis PT, DPT, OCS; Mike Spicka PT, DPT, OCS; and Noel Wagner PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS.
All four therapists currently hold clinic director positions at various Makovicka Physical Therapy clinics in Lincoln, Omaha, Wahoo, and Millard.
The rigorous exam and board certification may be applied for only after the physical therapist has gained at least 2,000 hours of clinical practice experience working directly with patients, and provides formal recognition for physical therapists with advanced clinical knowledge, experience, and skills in a special area of practice.
Booker is clinic director at the 70th & L clinic location in Lincoln. Davis is clinic director at the West Omaha/Elkhorn clinic, which additionally has a warm water pool offering aquatic therapy. Spicka’s clinic is in Wahoo, Nebraska, which also has aquatics. Wagner is clinic director at the Millard location.
