Shane Cole PT, DPT was recently named Clinic Director of the new Makovicka Physical Therapy clinic located at 16385 Westside Dr. in Plattsmouth. The clinic is scheduled to open in early September.
Along with being certified in Functional Dry Needling, he has unique expertise to assist patients in their recovery and rehabilitation from injury. Cole is an Impact Concussion trained physical therapist and utilizes Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training which is highly suited for rehab to safely and quickly increase strength and muscle size without overly stressing healing tissues.
Shane is originally from Emmet, NE, attending high school in O’Neill, NE (O’Neill High School). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UNMC in 2016. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Iowa Physical Therapy Association. Shane resides in Beaver Lake and is excited to be part of the community.
