Watching our patients graduate from their physical therapy is one of the highlights of our day! Bea Horton recently graduated and shared this with us after her last visit:
“I had a total knee replacement on October 31, 2017. I chose Makovicka Physical Therapy for my physical therapy because they were among the clinics recommended by my doctor.
From my very first visit, the team made me feel welcomed! They showed me around, answered my questions and got me started the very next day! I chose Colleen as my therapist. Her professionalism and her attention to every concern I had about my knee made me feel like she really listened and involved me in the treatment process. She would add or alter treatment to address concerns I had, but she always maintained excellent physical therapy standards (no, she was not easy on me!!)
I made excellent progress and graduated January 20th. I feel as if I developed a friendship with Colleen because of the way she drew me in at every visit. I never felt like she was rushing me to complete my routine. As other patients came in at their scheduled times, she would always ask if it was okay for another therapist to work with me on strengthening exercises.
The atmosphere at Makovicka Physical Therapy was always professional, and the whole team was always personable. They recognized and greeted me every time I came in for my visit. I felt like I belonged, and I looked forward to my appointments. I can’t thank Colleen and the Makovicka team enough!”
