Makovicka Physical Therapy Collecting Diapers to Make Holidays Brighter

Diaper Drive

The Makovicka Difference

We are leaders in our profession, locally owned and operated by physical therapists who forge relationships with patients, and advocate for their care. All of our clinics have board-certified specialists on staff, meaning you get the highest level of care to maximize your recovery, and get you back to your game. We will listen, evaluate your symptoms, and create a personalized physical therapy program to meet your needs and improve your function, strength, and mobility.

Makovicka Physical Therapy clinics are collecting diapers for the holidays as part of the Makovicka Cares! program.

All sizes of diapers are needed, especially sizes four, five, and six. Diapers may be dropped off at any Makovicka location Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. We are accepting donations until Friday, December 2nd.

The 13 Makovicka Physical Therapy clinics located in Douglas, Sarpy, and Cass counties are participating in the 20th annual Channel 94.1 Diaper Drive. The collected diapers will be transported to the Hy-Vee at Linden Market on Friday, December 9th, and ultimately delivered to the Lydia House at the Open Door Mission. The mothers at the Lydia House and mothers through the Open Door Mission Homeless Prevention Programs will be the recipients of the donated diapers. Fifty percent of women and children at the Lydia House are victims of domestic violence.

The six Makovicka Physical Therapy clinics in Lancaster and Saunders counties are collecting diapers for the Community Action Partnership of Lancaster and Saunders counties. Community Action Partnership has 17 programs that address the causes of poverty, and help individuals with financial and family well-being, homelessness prevention, and more. When their clients participate in the programs, they earn points.

Help us help others and make the holidays and 2023 brighter for those in need of assistance!
