Makovicka Physical Therapy is pleased to announce its newest clinic opening in Bellevue in December 2017. The physical therapy clinic will be located near the corner of Cornhusker Highway and Fort Crook Road. As with all nine existing clinics, this location will be staffed with board certified orthopedic specialists who have advanced training and skills to maximize recovery and get patients back in the game—whatever that may be.
The clinic director is Michael Donnelly, PT, DPT, OCS, who participated in the orthopedic residency program through Creighton University and Makovicka Physical Therapy. Michael is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Nebraska Physical Therapy Association.
The Bellevue clinic will offer: advanced treatment techniques in Functional Dry Needling TM, instrumental-assisted soft tissue mobilization (Graston Technique) and vestibular and balance rehabilitation. In addition, the Bellevue clinic will offer Aquatic Therapy, with a warm water pool available to provide the perfect environment of healing, exercise and natural resistance from the water.
Clinic hours will be 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Makovicka Physical Therapy accepts all major insurance plans, and is recognized as a Tier 1/Select provider for all Blue Cross Blue Shield policy holders.
Makovicka Physical Therapy believes in giving back to the community and participate as members of the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, and the Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce.
It’s important to know that with the recent announcements of large national companies purchasing or partnering with local physical therapy companies, Makovicka Physical Therapy remains locally owned and operated, with many convenient locations in Omaha and Lincoln. As leaders in our profession and our communities, we remain focused on forging relationships with patients and advocating for their care.
