Makovicka Physical Therapy proudly supports our communities each year through sponsorships, donations, staff involvement, event participation, and even cleaning up trash. The need is real. According to the Diaper Bank Network, children in low-income families are at the greatest risk of suffering the effects of diaper need because many families can't afford diapers. Current public support programs help some, but young children have additional needs necessary to build a strong foundation for healthy growth and to reach their full potential. Makovicka Physical Therapy partnered with the Saint Roberts Bellarmine parish to help in many different ways. During COVID staff helped clean the church and Mainelli Center as well as helping in the church office. The staff has made presentations to Circle groups and the staff of the Early Learning Center. The need is real; families need diapers.  All nineteen Makovicka Physical Therapy clinics are collecting diapers for the holidays as part of the Makovicka Cares! program. All size diapers are needed but sizes 4, 5, and 6 are needed the most.
