New Clinic at Midtown Crossing

Scott Edwards PT, OCS, CSCS

Makovicka Physical Therapy has opened its sixth Omaha clinic at Midtown Crossing. On Monday, Setember 22, we saw our first patient in the new clinic. We are located at 3201 Farnam Street, next to the movie theater and across the street from Prairie Life Fitness. We are excited to be part of the Midtown Crossing coummnity! This location will provide a convenient location for patients that live or work in the midtown and downtown areas.

I am the primary physical therapist and clinic director for the Midtown clinic. I recently joined Makovicka Physical Therapy and am proud to be a member of this team of dedicated professionals. I have worked in the downtown area of Omaha in the past and am excited to return.

I have practiced in the areas of orthopaedic and sports physical therapy throughout my career since graduation from the UNMC Physical Therapy Program. I am a certified specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy and a certified strength and conditioning specialist. I have extensive experience and training in orthorpaedic and sports physical therapy including post-operative and spine rehabilaition. I believe treatment that includes manual therapy, corrective exercises, and education provides the best results for patients recovering from injury or surgery. When people better understand their condition, they are better equipped to recover.

On the personal side, I am married to Leslee, a nurse originally from Knoxville Tennessee. We are dedicated Husker and Volunteer fans! Go Big Red and Go Vols! We enjoy the outdoors and live music. Bicycling has been a favorite activity of mine and I look forward to checking out the area trails.

We would love to have you stop by the Midtown Clinic and if you have any questions be sure to call. 402-932-9300.
